Timothy’s story began for us in 2017 in the snowy wilds of Alberta, Canada, where he faced harsh winters and uncertain days. When he was rescued from a destiny with an unfortunate ending and brought to Oregon, his transformation was remarkable—he traded snowdrifts for green pastures and loneliness for a loving home. Inspired by Tim’s resilience and newfound joy, we knew we had to do more.
That’s why we created our sanctuary: a place where donkeys like Tim could heal, thrive, and find happiness. Today, he leads the herd, welcoming new friends and reminding us daily why every resident deserves a safe and loving forever home.
